If you have followed me and my fly fishing journey, you know one of my favorite flies is the Blow Torch. For this variation I have added a lighter collar, and yellow tailing, to imitate more of the Sulphur Hatch that many East Coast stream get in May and June. This fly combines all the components of an attractor pattern in one:
-CDC collar for maximum allure of an emerging insect
-Hot Spot collar near bead for triggering fish and catching their eye
-Natural Hare's Ear body for simplicity
-Tinsel Wrap for extra flash to entice a fish
-Yellow Glo Brite tail for one last attraction and imitating a sulphur nymph
