I HAVE NEVER FLY FISHED BEFORE, WILL THIS WORK FOR ME?

Absolutely! No experience is required. Your best bet, if you are BRAND new, is to set up a Tight Lining School session and invite a friend! In our 3 hours together, we can lay the foundation. Check out the Tight Lining School tab for more info!

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE  A TRIP?

Any time of year! I catch fish year round. Some months can be a challenge and there are prime months and conditions. However, every day is a chance to learn something new, and sometimes the worst conditions yield the best results. Book a trip ASAP, and barring a large storm or extreme weather, we can go have some fun and catch some fish!

MY FRIEND OR CHILD WANTS TO LEARN TOO, CAN THEY COME?

One of the best and most memorable trips Mike has had as a client was with a friend. We still argue over who caught more and had the biggest fish. We offer classes and trips for up to two people. Feel free to book a trip with you and your friend, or child, and it may be a trip you will never forget.

WHICH OPTION IS BEST FOR ME?

New to fly fishing? We have a school. Want to fish traditionally? We have options for that. Want to learn Tight Lining/Euro Nymphing, as well as Streamers? We have trips for that too! No matter what level of experience, or desire to learn a new technique, we can outfit you and teach you.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING THE DAY OF THE TRIP?

Waders and Boots! You can bring your own rod and reel, especially if that is new, or your trusted rod. However, Mike will have rods, reels, tippet, leaders, flies, etc. for the terminal tackle side of things that day. We suggest appropriate clothing (extras in case you take a dip!), sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. Also, try not to wear anything too bright. Drab colors work best! Snacks, lunch, and beverages are provided as well, depending on the type of trip.

I KNOW WHAT I WANT, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Head over to the "Book a Trip" tab! Mike is excited to work with you and share his passion for the outdoors and fly fishing. He looks forward to sharing a stream with you and teaching you a few things that should help the next time you go out on your own!
